These instructions are provided to help you through the process of inserting a raster image into Autocad® R.14. If you have an image management addon like COLORVIEW® from PEAK GEODESIGN then the images should insert themselves automatically based on the world file.
These instructions will be limited to gaining familiarity with the process of using the Release 14 menus and what they are asking for. They will not cover every possible circumstance and won't replace time spent with the proper documentation.
The necessary steps are.
- Select INSERT --- RASTER IMAGE menu item.
- Select ATTACH Image.
- OPEN the raster file for attaching.
- Enter IMAGE PARAMETERS.
- Specify parameters ON SCREEN if necessary.
- REGENERATE the Drawing
